Mystery Practice take 2!

The sun shine was bright for our morning Mystery practice today!

 Happy kids....

and Silly kids.....

 were there for fun events like t-shirt relays.....

 Air mattress races.....

 and watermelon relays...be careful those melons are slippery..must be the Crisco!

The pool was full of happiness and everyone enjoyed the ice cream floats and cookies!

At Wolfcreek

The GOCC swim team gathered at Wolf Creek to show them what we could do! Although there was talk of rain.... we all hoped we did not have to repeat the experience of our soggy, first meet.

 We cheered because the rain held off and we cheered because we were happy to be there!

 We took our marks.....and swam...one race after another all night long!

 We could not be stopped.....Braden dove in and lost his goggles  in his race...but he just kept right on swimming!

 We swam our way to victory and beat Wolf Creek!

Swim-a-thon 2012!

It was a beautiful morning for our annual swim a thon! Our goal was to swim to King's Island....and raise money for a wonderful organization......Blessings in a Backpack!

This year is an Olympic year so we had an Olympic theme!

 Our swimmers were so excited to jump in the water and being their laps!

 GOCC swimmers were in the water......

as were GOCC swim team parents.....

and coaches too!

 Laps were counted....

 and our swimmers were so proud of every lap they added to their tally!

 It was so nice to have the principal of the school we were helping there to support our swimmers and tell us how we were making a difference!

The kids enjoyed their prizes, post swim snacks and the feeling of happiness as they spent the morning helping those in need!

 Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals were awarded for those that raised the most money.....

 and those that swam the most laps!

Way to go Gators! Thank you for sharing your hearts this morning!

Popsicles & Speeding tickets!

Our second Friday morning practice was one of popsicles and happy kids!

 Speeding tickets were passed out this morning too!

Our gators were so excited to celebrate improving their times! We are so proud of all of you!
